Amram’s Quintet includes Kevin Twigg on drums and glockenspiel, Rene Hart on bass, Adam Amram on congas, Elliot Peper on bongos and special guest Erik Lawrence on tenor and baritone saxophones.

Multi-instrumentalist, composer, Bop raconteur and Renaissance man David Amram celebrates his 90th Birthday (Nov 17th) with a live show from the Jazz Forum, performing with his group featuring Rene Hart, bass, Kevin Twigg, drums, Adam Amram, congas, plus surprise guests! David has been on the music scene since the early 1950’s starting as a French hornist in the National Symphony Orchestra. He moved to New York City in 1955 and played French horn and whistles in the legendary jazz bands of Charles Mingus, Dizzy Gillespie, Lionel Hampton and Oscar Pettiford.
