Honoring Magally Luna

Born in Denver, Magally’s, Mexican-American mom came from a hard-working family from the field-worker colony, Kersey Colony, in northern Colorado. She was the first person in her family to earn a college degree—she became a teacher and teaches at Denver Waldorf School.

Beginning with Colombian folklore, music, and dancing have always been part of Magally’s life. You can find Magally on the stage at Su Teatro! Pictured here acting in “The Return of the Barrio Moon” at Su Teatro.
