Rolando Garcia

Shows - R&B Jukebox | Saturday 6pm

Rolando Garcia says he was bitten by the radio bug at the age of sixteen when he began broadcasting bilingual headline news for the small country-western AM station in his hometown of Douglas, AZ.

He hosted a live daily 4-hour rock and roll show while in the service in Clovis, NM and later a 2-hour weekly show on a free-form station in Tucson.

Rolando has been a KUVO volunteer since 1996. He was the originator and host of the R&B Jukebox from 1997 to 2003, when, because of his travel schedule, he handed the mic to Easy Bill. If you listen closely, you’ll also hear his voice on many KUVO recordings.
