7 PM – Gregory Goodloe Quintet – Denver-based guitarist Gregory Goodloe is nationally-known, with popular tracks on contemporary jazz charts (“Stylin” with Darren Rahn in 2019 and his latest release ”In Paradise”), and his own label Hip Jazz Records! Joining Gregory at KUVO will be bassist Michael White, keyboardists Raymond Richardson and Victor Chin, and drummer Joe Nickerson, with guest saxophonist Yohann Nickerson. It’s a very special day to celebrate live music on KUVO and to give where you live on the biggest day of the year for Colorado non-profit organizations. Keep it tuned to KUVO on Colorado Gives Day, Tuesday, December 6, as we celebrate LIVE music on the radio, all day long!
In addition, we invite you to come to explore the new “History of Jazz in Colorado” exhibit wall near the KUVO studio in the Buell Public Media Center. With special thanks to the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, this interactive exhibit features information about some of the most influential jazz musicians in our community over the years. We invite you to weigh in on who should be featured on the wall for this decade by scanning this QR code.
LIVE performances on KUVO JAZZ are supported by Bonfils Stanton Foundation, Drum City Guitarland, Grace Design Pro Audio, Listen Up, Schmitt Music – Englewood, and made possible by KUVO’s Studio Club and Beat Collective members.
