Effective Monday, August 3, Steve Chavis is stepping off the regular morning show,

Janine Santana will host Monday mornings 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., in addition to her weekend show “Salsa Con Jazz,” Sundays at 2 p.m. and Andy O’Leary will host the morning shift (6 a.m. to 10  a.m.) Tuesdays through Fridays. Andy O’ continues to host one of the very few poetry and jazz shows on American radio, “The Nightside with Andy O’,” Sundays 8 p.m. to midnight.

KUVO Jazz Music Director Arturo Gómez hosts mid-day on Monday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including “New Music Monday” at noon, featuring the latest CD and digital releases, sometimes before their drop date!

KUVO Jazz Music Producer Susan Gatschet hosts mid-days Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rodney Franks holds down the host spot afternoons Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Dave Schwan and Leslie Keros from The Jazz Network host the early evenings on KUVO, Monday through Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The “Night Beat” hosts on KUVO Jazz are all back from quarantine and producing fresh shows weekly Monday through Thursday, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.  They are Mike Wulfsohn on Mondays (including “Wulfie’s Wax Museum”), Geoff Anderson on Tuesdays (including the “Vinyl Vault”), Doug Crane on Wednesdays, and Dan Feinberg on Thursdays.

Late nights Monday through Thursday on KUVO Jazz, the “Jazz Odyssey” continues to break ground with the very latest in modern jazz and jazz-inspired music, including genre-bending artists and styles clearly in the camp of “what’s next.”  Hosts include Matt Seres, Rameau “Moe” Velez, Dele Johnson, and Harrison Neff.

Best of all, it’s great to have our Saturday hosts back in the saddle, masked up, socially distance, and safe in a clean studio that is disinfected several times a day.  “JJ” kicks off Saturdays on KUVO with “Breakfast Jazz,” calories included, starting at 6 a.m. Ed Danielson shares his good taste and deep knowledge of jazz history from 9 a.m. to noon. Gabriel and Allen Scott make Saturday afternoons swing from noon to 4 p.m.
