Matt Skellenger chats with Paul Donovan about show at Dazzle

Matt Skellenger stopped by the KUVO studio to chat with Paul Donovan on Evening Jazz about his show at Dazzle where he and Matt Reid will be playing the music of Ron Miles

Dazzle presents Matt Skellenger + Matt Reid Duo: The Songwriting of Ron Miles, the show is tonight, March 22 at 9:30.

Matt was fortunate enough to play a handful of duo concerts with Ron in the mid-2000s and is to have the opportunity to play his great music with his good friend Matt Reid on trumpet, cornet, and effect.

In other exciting news, The Skellenger Group’s 2019 release, Vitality, was #36 in the world on the Roots Music Reports top 50 Jazz Albums last week, and our song, 13 Past 11, was #3 on the top 50 Jazz singles last week. This is a huge accomplishment for an independent artist with no management team!
