On Stage: Akiko, Hamilton & Dechter at Vail Jazz Festival

“On Stage” features one of the top touring jazz trios in the nation – Akiko Tsuruga, Jeff Hamilton, and Graham Dechter from the 2018 Vail Jazz Festival. Join us on Saturday, November 7, at 10 pm, KUVO’s performance series.

Simply put, these three musicians come to play. Among the top touring jazz trios in the nation, Akiko Tsuruga (organ), Jeff Hamilton (drums), and Graham Dechter (guitar), bring high energy, innovative arrangements and world-class musicianship, including some of the music on Tsuruga’s 2017 release “So Cute, So Bad.” Playing together for years, this ace trio combines the exceptional talents of three singular pros into a greater-than-the-parts amalgam of tasteful, creative, straight-ahead jazz.
