On Stage—Celebrating Women Artists
Throughout the month of March, the KUVO on-air archive program “On Stage” has been celebrating women artists, as they were recorded in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.
Host Susan Gatschet will feature the following regional and national women in jazz; Julie Monley, Helen Sung, Teresa Carroll, Rene Marie, Lynne Arriale, Mimi Fox, and many others.
Tune in to “On Stage,” on Saturday, March 27, at 10 pm. A KUVO JAZZ exclusive.
The U. S. Congress designated March as “National Women’s History Month” in 1987, and KUVO has been broadcasting women musicians from its studios almost that long.
