On Stage: Holly Hofmann and Tahira Clayton

KUVO’s performance series “On Stage” is now on Saturdays at 10 p.m. This Saturday, January 11, “On Stage” is a double-header, with flute-piano duet of Holly Hofmann and Mike Wofford, and the AMP Trio featuring vocalist Tahira Clayton.

Acclaimed jazz flutist Holly Hofmann and celebrated piano accompanist Mike Wofford visited KUVO in August of 2007. Hear what’s it’s like for two musicians at the top of their game to fall in sync and fill the room with music!

In May of 2018, the AMP Trio visited KUVO on their U.S. tour, featuring vocalist Tahira Clayton. The group, comprised of pianist Addison Frei, drummer Matt Young, and bassist Perrin Grace (A.M.P., get it?) met up at the University of North Texas jazz program. We’re glad they did.  It’s good to catch hot young players on their way up.
