On Saturdays throughout March, KUVO is celebrating women artists, as they were recorded on the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio. The KUVO archive program “On Stage” is on the air Saturday at 10:00 p.m and hosted by Susan Gatschet.

The U. S. Congress designated March as “National Women’s History Month” in 1987, and KUVO has been broadcasting women musicians from its studios almost that long. This week, “On Stage” presents performances from drummer/composer/bandleader Colleen Clark, vocalist Wellington Bullings, reedwoman and drummer Clare Church, and pianist Carmen Sandim.

Tune in to “On Stage” for Women at KUVO, rebroadcast as their sessions were performed in KUVO’s Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio. That’s Saturday nights at 10 p.m. throughout March.  “On Stage,” a KUVO exclusive!
