interview with Chad Nibbelink

Jimmy Carter was President when Brothers Redevelopment started painting the homes of seniors on fixed incomes.  Chad Nibbelink is volunteer coordinator for the August event in its 36th year.

Nibbelink says while the economy goes up and down, the demand for their help is only going up.  “As the baby boomers are retiring, there’s more and more need all the time.”

Seniors must own their home and be on a fixed income.  Volunteers need no special skills.  Sponsors should be generous.  The deadline for applications is May 31.
