International Institute for Indigenous Resource Management and University of Denver Museum of Anthropology invite you to the 18th Indigenous Film & Arts Festival Art Exhibit Resilience in Times of Adversity Please join them for our Opening Night Reception and Artist Talk with Abigail Echo-Hawk. Join us for an Artist Talk by contemporary fine art photographer and Chemehuevi citizen Cara Romero, in conjunction with the art exhibit Cara Romero Photography: Storytelling Through an Indigenous Lens. Cara’s photographs capture Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultural memory, collective history, and lived experiences from a Native American female perspective.
