KUVO presents a live broadcast with the Domi Edson Trio at KUVO’s Bonfils – Stanton Performance Studio on Tuesday, August 9 at 7 pm.

Bassist and educator Domi Edson will be joined by pianist Spencer Zweifel on piano and Bobby Wiens on drums, as they prepare to launch their new record next month!

Domi Edson is an emerging force as a jazz bassist and composer originally from Seattle and now residing in Denver. A recent UNC graduate, Domi has already made an impact as an artist, having played at Dazzle, Nocturne, The Muse Performance Space, Frankie’s Jazz Club (Vancouver, B.C.), The Royal Room (Seattle), and the Five Points Jazz Festival as a bandleader. As a Sidewoman, Domi has performed with Terrell Stafford, Charles McPherson, Tia Fuller, Greg Gisbert, Dawn Clement, Gayelynn McKinney, Rico Jones, and many more. Reminiscent of groups like the Ray Brown and Jeff Hamilton Trios, the Domi Edson Trio performs a unique collection of new and reimagined music. With an album and international tour under their belts, the Domi Edson Trio is ready to swing!

KUVO Studio Club members you will receive an email invitation, be sure to RSVP. Space is limited.

LIVE performances on KUVO JAZZ are supported by Bonfils Stanton Foundation, Drum City Guitarland, Grace Design Pro Audio, Listen Up, Schmitt Music – Englewood, and made possible by KUVO’s Studio Club and Beat Collective members.
