Deborah Walker

Shows - The Gospel Train | Sunday 8am

Denver native Deborah Walker has long been active in the music and entertainment industry. Deborah’s seminal work impacted the gospel industry and the way gospel music is packaged and marketed, making the genre more upscale, glamorous and accessible to contemporary urban R&B influences.

Deborah continues to be an influential leader in the gospel industry, and regularly works behind the scenes with artists, producers, promoters and music label executives to stimulate the development of gospel music and its growing markets.

As a producer and director, Deborah fell in love with Radio after working with KABC/KLOS Radio in Los Angeles. Upon her 1996 return to Denver, Deborah worked for KLDC and KDKO Radio and then established her own 1-hour syndicated gospel radio show, “CEC Gospel Music Mix” that aired on KRKS, KLDC and KCBR Radio in Denver as well as online.

Deborah hosts The Gospel Train on KUVO every Sunday morning from 8 to 9am.
