The CCJA Arts Messengers performed in front of a Studio Club audience back in July; the performance was recorded to be aired “at a later date.” That date is Tuesday, September 10 at 7pm! We hope you’ll tune in and enjoy the music of mostly 17 and 18-year old students that are passionate about the music they play and who are planning careers as professional musicians. You’ll be surprised to hear their maturity and creativity.

At the time they came in to record they were coming off a week of CCJA’s Jazz in the Sangres Camp, the Jazz Arts Messengers will be performing the music of Bill Evans, Ornette Coleman, and original compositions from the members of the group.

Gabe Rupe attends Julliard, and some are headed to other college programs next year, and some are still in high school. People will be surprised to hear their maturity and creativity.
