Vitalant Blood Center needs your help

With more than 125 centers nationwide Vitalant Blood Center   is one of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit community blood service providers,  who supplies comprehensive transfusion medicine services to nearly 1,000 hospitals and health care partners for patients in need across 40 states.

During this  Covid-19 pandemic Vitalant needs your help more than ever. Here in Colorado there are several locations to assist people who need help and want to help.

I had a chance to speak with Brooke Way , Marketing and Communications specialist for Vitalant (formerly Bonfils Blood Center ) regarding what the everyday need for blood donations was before the pandemic, and how the donation process has changed due to Covid-19. She also spoke about the message that Vitalant is trying to get out to people who have never donated blood before, and what regular donors should know.
