Kent Denver’s Contemporary Music Program trains young musicians to explore the rich variety of cultures in American music. Along the way, students learn roots, Latin, soul, R & B, folk, country, and jazz music through studying and playing regularly with seasoned professional musicians. The students are empowered to find their own artistic self-expression and take leadership of bands. Students name their own bands, write songs and arrangements, and select their material. “Soular Wave” performs old-school soul tunes and modern hits. These devoted youngsters will put on a great show that makes people feel good and want to move!
This event will be broadcast live from the Masterpiece Studio, with room for a full audience of parents and supporters, including KUVO Studio Club and Beat Collective members.
The members of Kent-Denver’s Soular Wave are:
- Reed Haymons – Vocals
